Mission

The Ohio Association of Gerontology and Education (OAGE) is a non-profit organization of students, practitioners and academics who are devoted to improving the lives of our aging population.

OAGE promotes aging education, research and practice and professional development for students, faculty, practitioners, administrators, professionals, and Ohio’s aging network.

Bringing Ohioans together to make Ohio the best place to age.

Vision

Our new logo features an abstract symbol of tree trunk rings. The rings of a tree trunk tell the story of its life, symbolizing years of growth and experiences. For OAGE, this signifies commitment to educating people about aging and how to properly care for the aging population. Paired with two leaves to show how there is still much growth and research to be had in how we educate ourselves and others.
