How do power, policy, and social forces shape the experience of aging? The 2027 OAGE Conference, The Politics of Aging: Exploring the Policies, Systems & Inequalities Shaping Longevity in America, invites you to join thought leaders, practitioners, educators, students, and advocates to critically examine how public policies, social and health systems, economic conditions, and structural inequities shape the experiences and outcomes of aging across diverse populations. Through research presentations, scholarly dialogue, and opportunities for collaboration, attendees will consider the implications of these forces for longevity, health and well-being, access to resources, and the future of aging in America.
