Teaching Interests/Expertise

I teach LTCA I and LTCA II, and the 1,000-hour two-semester Internship courses as well as maintaining accreditation standards; I also work with our NHA Advisory Committee to stay up to date with the field of LTC

Service/Practice Interests/Expertise

I am the Kent State University Gerontology Club Faculty Advisor and the Sigma Phi Omega (Gerontology Honors Society) Faculty Advisor; I am the Academia Member and Chair of the Continuing Education Committee on the BELTSS Board (Board of Examiners of Long Term Services & Supports); I am an Education Committee Member and Academic Forum Convener on the National License Board – NAB (National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Board); I am also a Board Member at Ohio Living Rockynol

Skills and Areas of Expertise That Could Be Helpful to Potential Aging-related Partners.

My connections with LNHAs across the state and LTC Providers would be helpful to OAGE, as well as my Board work with the State of Ohio BELTSS and with NAB. Additionally, OAGE is considering me for the role of Treasurer when current Treasurer steps down.
