This Older Americans Month, we invite you to join us in transforming the narrative around aging. The 2025 theme, “Flip the Script on Aging,” challenges outdated stereotypes and celebrates the vibrant, purposeful lives of older adults. It’s a call to action—to honor their contributions, amplify their voices, and reimagine what it means to grow older.
At the heart of this transformation is education—and the next generation of gerontology professionals. The Pam Matura Student Travel Fund enables students throughout Ohio to attend the Ohio Association of Gerontology and Education (OAGE) Annual Conference where they have the opportunity to explore the richness of aging, connect with passionate professionals, and carry forward a vision of aging that is active, engaged, and full of opportunity.

Support the Pam Matura Student Travel Fund and invest in a future where aging is seen not as decline, but as discovery. While any amount is welcome, we have provided a breakdown below of your donation's potential impact for a student.
- $100 donation covers one student's full conference registration fee (Registration)
- $250 donation covers one student's travel costs (hotel and mileage) (Travel)
- $500 donation covers one student's conference registration, travel and food, poster printing fees, and more (Full experience)
